True to our roots as an Embassy Suites, you’ll find an experienced chef in our restaurant and a cocktail waiting for you at our Happy Hour receptions. All the while, our experienced staff takes care of the chores.

Of course, this is more than vacation living — it’s your home. With a comfortable apartment furnished just the way you like and friendly neighbors next door, life goes on as you please.   • Mike Mednansky

    Mike Mednansky
    Executive Director

    As Executive Director and Assisted Living Manager, Mike Mednansky oversees the day-to-day operations of Park Terrace as well as the development and implementation of strategic long-range plans. Mike has more than 22 years experience managing senior living communities. He served 8 years in the U.S. Air Force and attained the rank of Captain.

    Mike earned a Master’s degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. Originally from Chicago, Mike enjoys sharing his love of the Cubs with others.

    I feel blessed to be able to serve seniors. The best part of my week is playing poker with residents on Wednesdays.
  • Debora Maynard

    Debora Maynard
    Marketing Director

    As marketing director, Debora Maynard educates older adults about the benefits of moving to Park Terrace, including the carefree vacation lifestyle, resort-style amenities, programs and services, and the availability of in-home care. Debora has 10 years of experience as a long-term care agent and as a volunteer hospice care coordinator. She previously served as a franchise development coach and corporate trainer at one of the largest senior referral and placement companies in the U.S.

    A National Certified Readmission Prevention (NCRP) specialist, Debora is also a certified senior advisor and certified Alzheimer’s caregiver. She holds Series 6 and 7 investment licenses.

    I truly enjoy helping seniors and their families. I love seeing the peace of mind that comes from finding the lifestyle that matches what they want.

    Laura came to Park Terrace with great ideas and lots of experience.  She has previously worked with two other communities and through that has developed what we believe is a perfect combination of personal attention that encourages group involvement.

    When a new resident moves in Laura will meet with them and find out what they love to do, encouraging them to get involved in activities they enjoy.  And she has been known to create an activity if we don’t have one to suit their interests.

    Laura told me she loves to have fun with the seniors and watch them come alive when doing what they enjoy.  She is bringing new life to our activities department and we are so glad to have found her.

    Laura is married to Herb and they have 4 children; Rhoads who is 28, Joshua 26, Romley 22 and her surprise William who is now 10.

    Originally from Topeka, KS, Chef Trae Harvey attended culinary school at Platt College in Oklahoma City. Upon receiving his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts, Trae began his culinary career in the healthcare industry working in various kitchen positions in a multi-level care facility.

    Trae has been in the culinary industry for over 20 years working in resorts, as a private chef, catering, and healthcare. During this time, he has worked beside and learned from great chefs and has had the privilege to cook for many great people including high profile celebrities, athletes and musicians.

    He takes pride in developing creative and delicious menu options for residents and their families to enjoy. Trae is excited to be leading the kitchen and dining services team.

    When Trae is not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys.

    I like to bring a passion and energy to the kitchen and I truly believe that good food brings people together.
